Norbert Mueller describes his wave disk generator
Michigan State University associate professor of mechanical engineering Norbert Mueller describes his Wave Disk Generator, for which he has received a $2.5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Energy to build a prototype new engine and generator technology that can dramatically improve efficiencies and reduce costs of electric hybrid vehicles.
New Disc Gas Engine Looks to Challenge Traditional Diesel, Gas ICEs

The same thing gets regurgitated about this device yet I have yet to see any proof that this thing even works. Creating a toy model means nothing. At this point I won’t believe it’s real until I see a real prototype running. A $2.5 million grant does not mean it’s any more real than no grant at all. The government gives out money like this all the time. I’ve worked on a project that received congressional ‘plus-up’ money. You just need to have something that looks good on paper to get money. I think it’s pretty common that government funded projects fail all the time. You don’t have to give the money back if you fail.
You’re right. I posted it in order to get some reactions, feedback on this matter.
Same here, I’ve been attempting to follow this for at least a year, and am becoming very skepitacle, and disappointed. Does this thing really work, and when will we see it.
I’m not buying it either. Computer generated plans that say it ‘should’ work have no bearing on reality. Norbert’s design looks childish – like something my son would design, or a perpetual motion machine from the 1900′s. The thing can’t possibly spin in the proper direction because nothing is there to guide or force the motion of the gasses. It looks like a fraud, actually. The toy doesn’t even have intakes for fuel and air. And what’s that about not needing a radiator? It’s going to generate motion using fuel combustion but not generate heat? That’s ridiculous. Is this from the onion?
